Known issues with Windows XP System Standby and Hibernation modes

If a Windows XP computer uses Standby or Hibernation, the camera stops acquiring images when the computer wakes up. To resume image capturing, restart the camera.

It is recommended that Windows XP users disable Standby and Hibernation to help prevent any potential issues.

Both Standby and Hibernation may be disabled/enabled using the Start Menu → Control Panel → Performance and Maintenance → Power Options.
